What We Do

The Historic Army Aircraft Flight (HAAF) exists to preserve and operate a collection of airworthy aircraft formerly operated by the Army.

Its aims are to commemorate and memorialise those who operated such aircraft in peace and war since 1939, to educate the general public about the exploits and sacrifices of those in Army Aviation, to enthuse and encourage young people to pursue a career in aviation, and to support National and Army commemorative events.

Together with the Army Flying Museum, the HAAF will preserve and project the history of Army Aviation to the general public and current serving members of the Armed Forces.
